Brackin Kirkland is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and sound engineer who is compelled to draw others to Christ through personal story-telling and biblical narratives set to captivating music. Lindsay - beautiful wife and wonderful mother - has an angelic voice and brings a simple, grounded aesthetic to the music.

The music of Sounds Like Reign can be described as a "sonic exploration of faith in God" featuring sweeping soundscapes and passionate lyrics. This original music has been composed to inspire the wandering mind to focus on our Creator and walk in the light of His son Jesus.

Where do you live?

Near Asheville, NC.

What denomination are you?

We don't follow any particular denomination because we feel that splitting the Body of Christ into different parts ("Us vs. Them") creates disunity which grieves the heart of Jesus.
Our main focus is being transformed by the Holy Spirit, from the inside out, into the likeness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our desire is to live and breath His teachings "on Earth as it is in Heaven", as a witness and a testimony to His love, grace and mercy. We desire to fellowship with others whose sole purpose is to honor Jesus, and His blessed teachings, with all their heart, soul, mind and strength - regardless of superficial denominational boundaries.

Can we come visit you?

Since our lives are constantly on public display, our number one priority is the safety and nurture of our children, and maintaining as much personal space and privacy as we can afford. We desire to connect with people as we find time, typically at public events.

What do you believe?

Much like the earliest Christians did, we try to keep our theology simple and centered on the life and teachings of Jesus. We hope to update this section with more information soon, but in short, the Apostles' Creed (as stated below) clearly and simply summarizes our beliefs: ~ THE APOSTLES' CREED (circa AD 120-250) ~ "We believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; He descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again; He ascended into heaven, He is seated at the right hand of the Father, and He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the unified gathering of believers, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen."
